JOIN A WORK EDUCATION PATHWAY

In partnership with BOE, Victoria University,  Box Hill Institute and Federation University have developed a vocationally embedded Study pathway to modernise the relationship between industry and tertiary education. Either the Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership, or either of the Bachelor of Outdoor Leadership’s, provide students with the opportunity to learn as they work.

STUDY AND GAIN EXPERIENCE

Our Tertiary partnerships allow students to choose from either traineeship or internship modules allowing them to work as a BOE staff member while also fulfilling practical elements of their qualification. Not to mention the opportunity to do paid work throughout their studies and during term holidays in a job that builds their experience as they go. BOE guarantee all graduates a review of employment with a view to increasing their hours with BOE at the end of their studies.

EARN WHILE YOU LEARN

BOE’s partnership with TAFE and University represents an integrated working relationship between employer and training provider. Together, we successfully embedded this approach in 2019 and continue to develop and grow this program today.

This defined pathway program provides students with growth and development and empowers them to put their learning into practice, continually strengthening their industry knowledge, skills, and professional behaviour.

A tertiary education-based learning integrated work model for the outdoor industry, combined with innovative program design, means VU, BHI, FED and BOE are leading the way in workforce development in Australia and providing students with an opportunity to become experts within their own practice and within the industry.
